Calms the cough and reliefs throat irritation, associated to the common cold or irritant inhalation
Precautions. In women who are pregnant or breastfeeding consult your physician before using this product. In case of overdosage consult your doctor.
Warnings: If the cough persists for more than a week or is accompanied by fever, consult your doctor. Do not use in newborns and infants. Dextromethorphan did not manage to contain respiratory failure (or when there is a risk of it). Do not administer in patients receiving MAO inhibitors because of the danger of severe reactions, possibly fatal.
Precauciones. Because of its anticholinergic effects, manage it with great caution in patients with hypertension or with angle-closure glaucoma in prostatic hypertrophy or urinary retention in chronic lung disease with excess mucus production, hyperthyroidism, hypertension and cardiovascular disease.
